Behind the Scenes combined with Sales? Let’s go.
Objective: Show us some behind-the-scenes and how you deliver your promises and close with a soft pitch at the end.
These are open-ended. The goal is to show what it’s like to work with you and your process to achieve those client results. These videos are an opportunity to sell your service to folks who know you but want to see how you work, increasing their chance of wanting to work with you! Use these to help tell client stories and show their transformations. If you want some sales to come through, throw in a solid CTA and give us a link that leads directly to that offer.
MONDAY: If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to work with a [your position], come along with me!
Fitness coach example: If you’ve ever wondered what working with a personal trainer is like, come along with me!
TUESDAY: Have you ever wondered if working with [your position] is even worth it?
Web designer: Have you ever wondered if working with a web designer is even worth it? That’s what (client X) wondered before we worked on her website.
WEDNESDAY: POV: You’re a [describe client] who finally hires [your position]. Now, [achieve desire]
Fitness coach: POV: You’re a busy mom who’s tried everything to get in shape who finally hired personal trainer who’s also a mother of four. Now, you’re in the best shape of your life.
THURSDAY: Do you think I can [help client/customer achieve goal] in under [time limit]?
Note: Feel free to make this video longer and give a little depth to your process — be transparent and clear on how you help others! Or, use this to squash popular disbelief.
Fitness coach (disbelief angle): Do you think I can help John lose 50 pounds and get a six-pack in 100 days? Now, there are a lot of personal trainers out there who want you to think you can achieve insane results quickly, but the truth is…
Wedding Photographer (tell a process story): Do you think I can capture these first-look photos before the big storm arrives?
FRIDAY: I’m in the mood to [help client, fulfill order]. You down?
Note: Use this to tell a client story or to go step by step about how you achieve that client result.
Wedding Photographer: I’m in the mood to capture a wedding in the rain. You down? (Then tell a story about how rainy weather usually would ruin a wedding…but not this one.)
Fitness coach: I’m in the mood to help John be in great shape by summer. You down? The way I start my client process is with a discovery call…
Web Designer: I’m in the mood to give this client the rebrand of their dreams. You down? This small business came to me with huge aspirations.
SATURDAY: Most [professionals] are supposed to [do cliché]. Instead, let’s [do other, or more helpful task]?
Note: This is an opportunity to show how you buck the trends and how your brand is different from everyone else.
Fitness coach: Most fitness coaches make their clients think they must be sore to see the difference in their physique. Instead, I focus on longevity and sustainability.
Web designer: Most web designers are supposed to make your website pretty. Instead, let’s make it convert like crazy.
SUNDAY: “I’m a [describe position] who’s helped X [amount of people to [solve a problem].”
