“Lazy Boy” Sales Content

Objective: Feeling Lazy? Here’s a week of Text over Broll or voiceover content prompts.

Let’s use these prompts to promote a product or offer that we have. These should have a couple cutaway shots, some text here and there, but nothing too crazy. Feel free to elaborate with some bullet points or a couple of sentences but beyond that, don’t overthink these. Play around with text popping in as the video rolls in (you’ll see what I mean.) Close the videos with shots of your product and service in action with a CTA

And of course…let’s make it easy. 🧘‍♂️ Utilize old clips, voiceovers, that way, you can show up without working too hard.

Monday: “Listen up! If you're wanting to (achieve desired outcome, or call out your customer avatar), you need to see this”:


"Hey, moms running small businesses! Looking for ways to balance work and family? Check out this free guide to help you juggle it all!"

Tuesday: “Do NOT do this if you want (desired result)”

“Do not try to be your own accountant if you want to be a successful business…Here’s 1 huge mistake I see as an accountant for online business owners”

Wednesday: True or false: (Dispel a common belief held by your customer avatar.) (Then cut to the answer.)

NOTE: This is a simple text-based video. Hold on the True and False question for a couple seconds. Then cut to a different shot with the answer. Then cut to one more different shot with the CTA.

  1. Web designer example: True or False: Pretty websites convert better than ugly websites

  2. Landscaping and Home Care business: True or False: It’s cheaper to clean the gutters yourself.

Thursday: This is why your (action toward desired outcome) isn't working.

NOTE: Similar in style to yesterday’s video. Hold on the statement for a couple seconds, then text should appear below the statement expanding on the statement. Then Close with a CTA.

Note: This one is pretty self explanatory. Give us a little sneak peak on a future product in development or a quick behind the scenes of a new service. Don’t have anything new in the works? Give us a behind the scenes VO of a popular product or service of yours.
